At the involvement fair, I talked to a lot of different clubs, I mainly talked to the Club Hockey program, and the Catholic club. I took my selfie with one of the most electric and fired up priests I have ever met, and I come from a Catholic high school. Coming from a Catholic school, I have had to go to church a lot and take religion classes. It is what I have been used to for the last four years. So when I saw the priest, I knew that he was going to be easy to approach and would love to have a conversation with me. When I went up to him, right away he asked me a bunch of questions and was super open. I told him a few jokes and he loved it. I didn’t even really think about a Catholic club, but it was good to talk to the priest a little bit and learn what it was all about. I had to take a selfie with him. The next club I talked to was the club hockey team. I didn’t plan on seeing them either when I was at the fair. Turns out, the captain of the team was my high school hockey teams captain as well. He saw me and said what’s up and told me to play for the team. He said they need a goalie and wanted me to play. I have grown up my whole life playing hockey, and it has been a huge part of me as a person. I would love to play, but at the same time I am going to be really busy with classes and playing lacrosse as well. The involvement fair was a good time and I saw a bunch of different clubs that were all very interesting.
